I am a historian of southern Africa currently working at the University of the Free State. My main research interests include land control and ownership, whiteness, and labour history.

I am also now a project manager with My Trees, an organisation that is seeking to reduce the rate of natural woodland loss in Zimbabwe, in order to preserve biodiversity at scale within threatened landscapes.
